This stuff did the trick after our alpaca got into some rhododendrons. EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THIS IN THEIR MED KIT! He was down within 2 hours and we found a friend with this UAA Gel and got it into him within 4 hours. He would not have made it to morning without it. The only thing we would change is the end tip.... we added a 4 inch piece of tubing to the end in order to get the solution to the back inside cheek, allowing the alpaca to swallow easily... without wearing most of it.

    "Essential for all animal owners"

I consider this item essential for animal owners to keep on hand at all times, and it used to be easily available from most of the livestock supply dealers - now all of a sudden Jeffers is the only place one can find it. What happened? It has saved so many of my animals' lives over the years - sheep poisoned by eating the plants left when the pickings got thin in late summer, young goats separated from their mothers who would have told them which plants were safe to eat, a llama who discovered he could reach far enough over the fence to get a bite of rhododendron, even one of my dogs and one of my cats! Thank you Jeffers for continuing to have it, and PLEASE, keep it available!
