"My All Time Favorite Clippers"
I'm on my 4th pair of clippers in a time period of 24 years. I LOVE these clippers and are the only brand I use.Take good care of them and they will last a numerous amount of years..
"Oster A5 Turbo "
Disappointed in quality of housing. Just got them have not used yet finger crossed they work well. Housing is plastic where I was expecting metal for the price. Power switch is also plastic. Hope these hold up for what I plan to use them for (clipping goat faces, udders and feet as well as sheep faces and occasional dog trim. ) will update review once I use them a bit.
"VERY POOR PRODUCT"
I totally agree with Krystal from Eugene, OR Get way to hot have to stop several times to cool down just to do a Nigerian Dwarf. Would not buy again. I will have to replace with something better.
Clippers get hot quickly, sometimes will not cut even when new. Bought new blades still would not cut with new blades but 1 or two times. Manufacturer should give more detailed instructions, trouble shooting etc. as to which blades are better for coarse or fine hair.
"Work well, but get hot quickly"
I purchased these clippers to clip my Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. They work well but I can only get about 25% of one goat clipped before the clippers are so hot they are almost burning my hand. The blades don't seem to get hot - just the motor. Nigerians are quite small so I think for the price of the clippers I should be able to get at least one goat clipped before having to stop for a few hours to let the clippers cool down. It takes a long time for them to cool down too. Other than that I do really like these clippers. Blade changes are really quick & easy. They are small & light weight so they fit comfortably in my hand.
I have used these clippers 3 times and they worked great. But when I went to use them again they wouldn't cut anything. How often do you need to sharpen them. I would think they would be still sharp after only 3 uses.
I have had a pair of these clippers for over 8 years, clipping 2 dogs every 4 to 6 weeks and they finally died. They are costly but in the end, you get what you pay for!
"multi purpose great clippers"
I really like these clippers. I'm on my 2nd pair in 10 years but only because I upgraded models. The first pair still worked great and I sold them to a friend. I use to body clip and show clip, all with great success.
