"Definitely Deserves 5 Stars!"
Mastoblast is very effective, for not just mastitis in goats and cows, but also lumps and certain other udder problems. It has been a life saver for me and I'll make sure to always have it in my goat box!
Unfortunately did not work with our goat.
I think Mastoblast is a great product to treat mastitis when you catch it in the early stages.
I haven't had to use it yet, but read great reviews about it. My horse gets mastitis a lot. Taking her to the vet every time is crazy. So I'm hoping this works on her.
We had a Boer goat that had a bad case of mastitis in her right udder, the poor thing was rock hard. We used this after we had started antibiotics as per the vet and with in days we noticed a difference. She is all better now and even nursing the kids. Love it
"Was A Skeptic"
In all honesty I am not a big fan of homeopathic medications, but I was desperate to save a beloved cow with chronic hot mastitis, so I was willing to try almost anything...and it worked!!! None of the antibiotics I tried (either from the feed store or vet prescribed) worked to clear out the base infection, it would wane after a few days of treatment, then come back just as bad as ever. With Mastoblast, I saw significant improvement within the first 36 hours, with a completely clean CMT in 3 days. I also like that it's an oral/nasal application - repeated inter-mammary injections can be painful for a cow already who's already experiencing severe discomfort, and make it dangerous to treat her. I put the dose on a piece of bread and put it in her feed - works like a charm! I have also tried it on a sheep, and it worked very well with no recurrence of symptoms.
I absolutely LOVE Mastoblast. I have a herd of dairy goats, and use this for all our mastitis problems. It works absolutely great, and I recommend it to everyone I know.
"Better than antibiotics"
We tried everything mainstream to treat mastitis - and this coupled with vitamin C is incredible. Much more effective than antibiotics. You have to read the CMT differently with goats than cows....
"Doesn't work for goats"
I tried this product on several goats, and it did not make any difference on any of them. I might as well have been giving them water! Save your money and buy ToDAY, or feeding them their own milk which they will make antibodies against. Much cheaper and more effective.
We've used Mastoblast for several years with our milk cow. It is extremely effective. It hasn't failed us in curing mastitis. As long as your facilities are clean, milking practices are clean, using Mastoblast will wipe mastitis right out.
