I've purchased this collar for my American Bulldog, he wore it for many years. He passed away, I kept the collar. Cleaned it up with leather cleaner a year later & now my Cane Corso is wearing it. Very durable, high quality, long lasting collar. Well worth the money!
"tough & beautiful"
I purchased this collar for my American Bulldog in December 2010 & he's been wearing it ever since(it's now April 2011). All the blue jewels are still on the collar & are very secure. I went a size up & the collar was actually a little big for him. the only downside-it turned the fur on his neck gray/black in color(of course he's a white dog). He plays rough with my other dog & the collar has held up great. I get ALOT of compliments on the collar! I def. reccomend this collar for any bully breed!
"Liked but disappointed"
We thought this was a beautiful collar and it was! I would suggest if you get this to not keep it on the dog full time. Our collar lost most of its blue rhinestones pretty quickly. We were very disappointed in that. The strength of the leather is great. Just sad that the jewelry part of it fell apart quickly.
I loved the collar I got it for my american bulldog I went up a size like they say an it barely fit. She has been wearing for 6 months now she is a house dog an 3 of the blue rhinstones have fell out but as far as how it is made it is a good collar.
"beautiful and long lasting"
Got this for my pit bull mix because he has to look tough, right? :) He's been wearing it for 5 years ago and it still looks great. It's looking worn, the spikes are a dulled and the chrome finish has chipped some. But it just looks like normal wear and tear. Structurally the collar is very sound and and has held up wonderfully. No lost studs or gems. A great way to toughen the look of your sweet dog for an added sense of protection when walking at night. It is very thick leather, though, and doesn't allow any give. If you're dog runs between sizes, get the next size up.
