When I purchased it, I figured it would be squishy/rubbery like many curry combs are. It is not, it is a hard, rigid plastic. So it'll be great for working through that dense winter coat and breaking up clumps of mud... but don't dig too hard into your horse's coat with it. I am certainly happy with mine, but I wanted to note that it was a rigid, hard plastic as the advert didn't mention that. It fits well in the palm of your hand, and it is very sturdy and well made. Very good value too! Thanks, Jeffers!
