The Gaun Hopper Feeder is made of strong, heavy-duty plastic. This top-fill, large capacity poultry hopper feeder stands on three legs holding the feed station up to keep the feed free of debris.
The anti-scatter ring prevents waste by keeping the birds from flipping food out of the feeder. For chickens, ducks or other poultry.

"Great feeder...after you fix it!"
I love this feeder! It holds an entire bag of feed and is super easy to fill. It did, however, require a little effort to make it work right. When setup following the directions, if the floor was not 100% level, a turkey bumped it, or the bedding under one leg got soft, then one (or several) legs would fall off and the feeder would fall over. I solved this by supergluing the legs to the base. Now they only end up on their sides if we let one get empty and the turkeys flip it trying to make more food come out!
"Great for my ducks"
No waste and large container able to hold a full 40lb bag
The feeder keeps my chickens from flinging the food out and I don't think mice have gotten in to it. The feed is in so deep that most of my chickens can't get to it. When I put scratch on top of the food, some of the bigger birds will get into it and pick out the scratch. I thought that might "train" them to use it for food but they seem to ignore the regular food in there because they have easier access to pellets that I have to use for my smaller chickens.
"Great hopper feeder"
I wish I had bought this sooner. Waste is practically gone now. I almost wish I had bought the 60# feeder, but since I only have 14 ladies this works good. If you are tired of seeing wasted feed, buy this!
"40 lbs hopper"
Love this feeder. Will buy another one. The chicken don’t throw their food out and it’s deep enough for my crossbeak chicken to get the food. Wonderful design.
"Awesome feeder, reduced feed loss considerably"
We had 25-33% (maybe more) feed loss with PVC tube type feeders. This feeder has reduced that to 1-2% loss. We experienced better results with pellets than with crumble since pellets are heavier and harder for the birds to fling. The large hoppers allow us to not worry about feed for several days with a 12-bird flock. In our case this feeder paid for itself quickly. Th biggest negative is the 60 lb. hopper is hard to relocate once it is full. There is no good way to pick it up and the bottom will come off if not picked up properly. We have been so impressed that we bought a large and small for ourselves and also bought a large feeder as a Christmas gift for a friend & fellow poultry owner @ church who is having feed loss issues.
"40lb Hopper feeder "
I love this feeder!!! My turkeys can no longer make a mess of there food! I highly recommend this feeder!!!
My chickens can’t scatter their feed all over the place. Plus it holds enough that I don’t have to worry about them running out.
