"Convenient! Never off schedule for worming!"
Every fall I order a year's supply for each of our horses -- and they are completely on schedule for the next year! It is a great idea!
worming your horse properly is as important as growing your child. Ivermectin kills most worms but does not kill eggs (only hatches them). If you follow up with Bimectin or Exodus on the 18th day after worming with Ivermec you will kill the new worms that hatched (all of them) and there will be no more eggs in there to hatch. Follow that up 30 days later with your 3rd wormer and until the weather changes you should be good. Don't forget to get their teeth floated by a reliable toothman (most always not a vet) give plenty of hay and your horse should make it thru with bells on
"No problems, No worms"
I just wanted to say I think this is a great idea and hope Jeffers keep this. I bought this kit for my horses and have had fecal checks and my Vet says no worms. Great kit just like it is but probably need different kits for those who would like more to choose from.
"great deal-but does need more..."
It is very convenient and I have bought several kits over the years but also added one or two more wormers with different ingredients. Can only agree with the other reviews and hopefully Jeffers comes out with another kit.
"agree needs 3rd kind"
I agree with an earlier reviewer. This would be an even better package with a third type of wormer added. I also purchased supplemental wormer. I do really like the convenience of buying a years worth at once.
Great idea. When you have all the wormers at your finger tip you tend to stay on scedule in worming you horse's
Pretty descent price for a full years worth of worming products. However, I think there needs to be at least one more type of wormer such as oxybendazole or fenbendazole. In order for a worming schedule to be effective, you need variety and two types of wormers is not enough variety. It doesn't cover a wide enough spectrum of parasites. I've purchased this pack for multiple horses and then bought additional wormers.
