I hate to have to say this. As everything I've gotten from JeffersPet is awesome. Especially the Sweetlix minerals. But...my goats absolutely hate this product. They spit, choke, and gag on it. Most of the dose ends up on the ground, wall...me. I will not ever purchase this product again.
"won't kid without it"
It's a bit messy, but we live so far from a vet or any other help that we use it before and after every pregnant goat kids, and so far everything has gone well for 7 years. We will keep buying it along with other products from Jeffers.
"Silly Putty for Goats"
Unfortunately, this stuff is hard as a rock unless warmed to 80 degrees or so. Even then, the B complex liquid comes running out the plunger side, while the rest of the goo comes out in a thick paste that doesn't dissolve in the goat's mouth. It stays in a solid ball that they spit out repeatedly no matter how long they mash it around in their mouth. There's just no good way to use this product.
"goats hate this"
goats hated this stuff, they gagged and choked and spit it as far as they could and fought hard. i put some on my tounge and found out why. it is horriable, bitter, burning and takes forever to get the burning bitter sensation out of mouth. not sure if help or not, not sure how much went down. went to using another product
