Poultry Dewormer 5x for Poultry

Poultry Dewormer 5x is a flavored capsule dewormer intended to help control common intestinal parasites in poultry, including threadworms, roundworms, cecal worms, gapeworms, and tapeworms. The capsules can be administered orally or mixed with food for convenient dosing. Available in 20-count and 50-count bottles.

Treats the Following:

  • Threadworms
  • Roundworms
  • Cecal worms
  • Gapeworms
  • Tapeworms

Features:

  • Targeted parasite control: Intended for use against five types of poultry worms.
  • Convenient dosing: Flavored capsules can be given orally or mixed with food or feed.
  • Available sizes: 20-count and 50-count bottles.

Directions:

  • Suggested dosage: One capsule per 4–7 lb of body weight. Adjust the number of capsules according to the bird’s weight.
  • Administer orally or mix the capsule contents with food or feed. Do not mix with water because the ingredients are not water-soluble.
  • If mixed with feed, isolate the bird during feeding to help ensure it receives the full dose.
  • The source recommends a follow-up treatment 10 days after the initial regimen. For more severe cases, it suggests treatment for 3 consecutive days, followed by another regimen 10 days later. Consult a veterinarian to determine the appropriate schedule.
  • Treatment may not prevent reinfection or eliminate larvae outside the intestinal tract at the time of dosing.

Egg and Meat Withdrawal:

Suggested withdrawal periods listed in the source are 7–17 days for eggs and 1–6 days for meat. Actual withdrawal requirements may vary. Consult a veterinarian or poultry professional before using eggs or meat for food.

Cautions and Warnings:

Do not administer to birds that appear sick. Consult a veterinarian for diagnosis, treatment, and parasite-control guidance. Keep out of reach of children.
