Just got off the phone with my beautiful friend Rebecca Rose, founder of InClover. I am trying to recall when we first met. It seems that we have been friends forever. I remember years before we even carried her supplements, stopping by her booth at trade shows for a cliff bar and water. Sometimes even an apple or banana too. Rebecca Rose always has a supply of healthy treats in her booth as an alternative to the junky, overpriced foods typically found at trade shows.

I am really excited to be partnering with Rebecca in an ad campaign in Modern Dog magazine for her Connectin joint supplement. Connectin is one of my favorite joint supplements, not just because I love Rebecca, but because of the science in Connectin, along with all her other products. Rebecca is the author of three patents on the composition and method for treating joint disorders in vertebrates.
Parents
There are people that just make your day a little brighter every time you hear their voice, or see their smile. Rebecca’s daughter is the same age as my son Alex, and prior to kindergarten, got to hang out at shows together. Since InClover is based in Boulder, Colorado, we don’t get to see each other more than 4-5 times a year. We always make time for an early breakfast so we can catch up on kids, trends, and science in the supplement market, and a little about our own spiritual journeys.
Scientist
Rebecca shares my love of sunsets, laughter, and science; she is a biochemist. It is always so interesting asking her about specific things and finding out if there is science to the claim or just junk. She is very active with the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) in trying to encourage manufacturers to be accountable with the ingredients listed on the product. I was shocked many years ago to find we carried a product (from another manufacturer) that when tested, only had a fraction of the active ingredient listed on the label.
