I got this ball for my mastiff a few years ago. Somehow, he managed to wedge his lower jaw through the hole and the ball had to be cut off. I never would have thought his jaw would fit through that hole, but once it got over his lower teeth there was no pulling it off. The Jolly Ball people were nice about hearing my complaint but, it's still around so just be careful.
Butterbean is a 65 lb pitbull, and he's had the large jolly ball for 3 years and it's still his favorite toy. After all this time he just managed to get the ball out of the inside! Worth every penny! If the large was available, I would definitely be ordering it!
"dog LOVES this ball"
My dog LOVES the med and large teaser ball, but we are sad that you dont have them any more :-(
"Fun, but not tough."
This toy is a lot of fun, but watch your dog play with it. It is for your dog to tear up its gums on the plastic as it tries to chew its way to the ball. I have to take it away after ten minutes because he's managed to bloody himself. It's not a big deal or a lot, but just to be safe. If your dog is a chaser and not a chewer you will be well off.
