Vaccine Shipping Warning

Next day air is strongly encouraged so that your vaccines do not arrive hot.

Most vaccine manufacturers prefer to have their vaccines shipped by Next Day Air.  Even vaccines shipped Second Day air will frequently arrive quite warm in the summer. 
Vaccines are nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
Make sure you are comfortable with the method used to ship your vaccines. 

Vaccines are shipped in an insulated envelope with an ice pack.  An insulated cooler is available for an additional $4.00 and is recommended (See items Z1XP and/or XZS1).

Vaccines are shipped from Jeffers during the last pickup of the day around 5:30 PM.  Orders packed prior to 5:30 PM are stored in a large walk-in cooler until they are loaded on the truck. Every effort is made to make sure your vaccines arrive as cool as possible. Please make arrangements to be home when your vaccines arrive or have them delivered to a friend or neighbor who will be home and can refrigerate them immediately.  Many customers will leave an ice chest for the UPS delivery person to leave their package. 

Vaccines will remain cool less than 24 hours during the hot summer months (even with an insulated cooler).  After that they will warm up quickly, so a package delivered cold at 10:00 AM may warm up when sitting on a hot porch for a few hours.

 Never put vaccines in a freezer.  

   -  Special Next Day Air rates apply only to the vaccine portion of your order.  Additional non-vaccine items will be shipped Economy or Standard (depending on your selection).  
   -  Next Day Air vaccine orders are shipped Monday-Thursday.
   -  2nd Day Air vaccine orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday.

Please note that because it is unlawful in many states to purchase Rabies Vaccine from any source other than a licensed veterinarian. Jeffers is only able to ship Rabies Vaccine to those states where it is legal. If you live in a state to which it is unlawful to ship Rabies Shots, the item will be removed from your shopping cart and you will not be charged.
