"Horse likes it"
I’m pleased with the quality of this girth. My mare seems to move well with freedom. I don’t have any issues with the top strap because I don’t pull on it before tightening the buckles. I’ve seen people do that and break them.
Very nice girth for the price, it's all soft, flexible but sturdy leather. The under side is nice and padded too. The elastic is not overly stretchy.
Every uniquely english item I have bought exceed my expectations, look like really expensive stuff without the big price tag. Beautiful, nice leather, great padding, quality hardware. Love the way it fit my horse. My only complaint and the reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I wish smaller sizes were available. I got the smallest I could (28) and it just barely works for size.
"My horse loves it!"
Great girth at a great price! Gives my horse that extra room he needs in his shoulder to move and jump freely without discomfort!
"This girth is the worst!"
I purchased this girth in the spring of 2016. With the first use the leather across the top ripped on the left. Shortly thereafter the right ripped. Now it slides back and the buckles are exposed next to the skin. I am in the market for another girth. I WILL NOT be purchasing this one.
Amazing quality for the money . Leather quality, fit, durability are great ! Puts my Marcel Toulouse to shame ! Every Uniquely English item we have bought are fantastic !
Excellent product, I use it at least 4 times a week and it is holding up perfectly after 6 m. I have many other brand name expensive girths and this one is just as nice but better since it keeps the saddle back behind the shoulders.
Stitching ripped on very first tightening up - before I sat in the saddle. Elastic is extremely stretchy, allowing the buckles to come above the leather; again this was on only the first use. I ordered a size smaller than my usual non-elastic girth, to accommodate the difference, however I'd recommend ordering two sizes (4") smaller to utilize the same billet hole with this extreme stretching.
