"Tacky Too Non-Slip Liners"
I purchased four of the Tacky Too Non-Slip Liners. I have six lesson horses that work six days a week. Two of the smaller horses use the regular tack too pads that are much thicker than the liners. The other four are using the new liners. After three weeks of every day use, I'm very pleased with the liners. They help the horses backs by holding the saddles in place and even out the pressure points. I use 1" Classic BioFits on top of the Tacky Toos as we do a lot of roping and I'm quite pleased with the results. They don't pick up hair and help to distribute the weight and alleviate pressure points. I did have to wait two months on the liners which were on back order but worth the wait.
"DON'T BUY THIS PAD FOR NON-SLIP!!"
I stupidly have 3 of these pads. They absolutely do not keep your saddle from slipping if you are on a mountainous trail with hills and curves. I hate this pad because I recently was tossed over a cliff at a curve. When I was pulled back up the saddle was firmly on my horse's right side just sitting there. The girth wasn't that loose but my horse was sweaty and with speed everything just spun.
This pad works better then some I have used! Very good pad & it doesn't slip at all!!!
I have the liner and it is amazing! It keeps your expensive saddle pads clean and does not rub your horse's back raw! I've had mine for a whole year and a half and it shows no sign of wear. And I use it just about everyday. I recommend the liner!!!
"Durable, non slip"
We have had two of these pads for about six years. They have held up well, although the rubber is starting to pit and I think that we will eventually need to get new ones. They clean up really well, just hose off. WE trail ride a lot and the thickness has been OK especially if your saddles fit well. We like them for steep hills since the saddles do not slip as much. They breathe well and have not ripped or frayed. We will be buying replacements. I also like the fact that they come in a size smaller than 32 by 32.
Good underpad, a little thin to use by itself though
