I wish I could only give my horses Ivermeterin (Because of the cheap price), but since it';s much better to rotate the different types, I like this one because it's cheaper than most.
"Strongid Horse Dewormer"
Have been using this for years and have never had a critter with a bad reaction
Seems very affective and on Jeffers it's much less than in the local stores. And with the free shipping and coming straight to my door in now time it's saving me the gas to buy it locally too.
"Excellent in every way!"
Best price, fastest shipping, excellent product------what more could anyone want?
"Strongid Horse Dewormer Paste, "
"Awesome price! Fast shipping!"
With free shipping it was almost $2 cheaper per tube than at the local store and took no time to receive. Great website. If it wouldn't be for the freight charge on items I desperately need for a good price, I would be ordering all my stuff here.
Best price for product.
Always the go to product for deworming. Even adding in the shipping charges, it's still a barging to purchase for my 4 horses.
For at least 20 years before vets finally acknowledged that horse get tapeworms I used this product to rescue chronic "poor keepers". I have tried all the new products and they do not hold a candle to Strongid Paste. Give at least double, up to triple, the standard dose one time and watch for results in just a few days. Sure symptom of "tapes" is a horse who actually looks worse a week after being dewormed with other products. I even rehabilitated a mare here for breeding who was on the daily Strongid pellets. It is the large, one time dose, that does the trick.
we have used this product as part of our deworming rotation for over 30 years... no problems. Check out the life cycle of the worm, and you might find the result is the worms are being passed from the mother to the foal, and therefore need more advanced care.
To JT, Whitewood,SD, I have been using this product per the Vet's instructions for foals under 6 mos of age. I had a filly get sick because I was giving my foals ivermectin and it doesn't kill the worms in young stock. Good for you to stand up for what you know is RIGHT ! jb
"Was told product compares to sugar cubes!"
"I was buying this product at a local feed store and the cashier told me this product was ""useless"" and I ""might as well give my horse sugar cubes (instead of this wormer) and save myself some money""!!! Considering I had not asked for her opinion I was a bit offended. I spoke to the manager and he apologized. I have used this wormer (in rotation) for 10+ years and never had any reason to think it didn't help between Ivermectin and Fenbenzadole. Anyone else have thoughts?"
