"The Sloppiest "No Spill" Bowl EVER! "

When I first assembled the bowl, it sealed nicely, though it's difficult to get the rubber sealing rim over the piece it goes on. Within two days, the seal came loose and couldn't be fitting again. This bowl is pure garbage! It's supposed to be spill-proof, with a "new easy to clean design" per Jeffers' description. It's easier to clean because it doesn't seal. It leaks from the sides where it's supposed to seal. It's sloppy; even when less than half full the dogs are able to slop water everywhere. And calling it a 2 quart bowl is misleading. First, it doesn't hold 2 quarts. Second, if you did fill it close to the top, water would flood everywhere! Never again. Now I know why nobody else carries it. I'll never make a purchase from Jeffers again. Companies that sell trash like this have no integrity.

    "Not sure why bad reviews"

I LOVE this bowl. I purchased 6 before reading the comments, then was concerned what I would receive. There is absolutely no problem with the 6 bowls I received. They come with a gasket to keep the pieces together, that's why it's a travel bowl, otherwise water would be everywhere. It breaks down in to 3 sections like pictured and can very easily be cleaned. The only thing I can think of is there was an old or another version. The 6 I received seal well, are not that difficult to separate and if they were easier, then water would spill everywhere. The stainless steel is high quality and you would never find an item like this anywhere near the price. It may just be a preference but we LOVE LOVE LOVE this item and it's a BARGAIN!!!! Highly recommend.

    "Oh my gosh"

Looked great but I never thought about reading a review. You can not get it apart to clean. Five different people have tried. I quess you could put it into a dish washer to clean. I should have sent it back.

    "Chum Bowl"

"This is a newer design than this old ones Jeffers used to sell. It has small holes at the bottom of the ""cone"" in the lid. The ones Jeffers sold before had one hole in the center of the cone that is a much better design. I am going to try to find a metal shop that can cut out the cone at the bottom of the lid and make one smooth hole for the water to be available for the dogs. My dogs have no problem putting their tongue through the center hole. There is no real problem cleaning the water dish if a bottle brush is used to clean it. You can get a bottle brush at Target for about $2. No big deal....."

This is a terrible product and not worthy of jeffers. The design is awful and the only way it works is to throw away the middle part and just use the top and bottom.

    "Good idea poor design"

Like other reviewers said this bowl is impossible to clean. Not to mention once you get it open the sharp edges cut into your fingers. Wish I could return it but I was out of state when mine came and when I finally got home it was too late to send back.

    "Impossible to Clean Inside"

I thought this would be a great bowl for my cocker's long ears but I couldn't even get the lid off. I called the company to find out if I was doing something wrong and they agreed that it's very difficult which means you can't clean it properly. I wasn't going to give my dog water out of a bowl I couldn't clean so I returned it.

"Wish I had read reviews BEFORE buying this"

The seal was old and would not seal properly so water leaks all over the place/. I am surprised Jeffers wouldnt even bother to look at the seal before sending it to a customer!

    "CHUM dog water bowl"

I just received this spill resistant dog bowl and all I can say is I wasted my money. The bowl, if tipped will leak. the lid should be a screw on but is instead just sitting on top of the bowl and will easily come loose. Look's pretty but doesn't perform well.

    "chum water bowl"

The bowl is difficult to take apart and so the seal is easily damaged. Also, the funnel is not deep enough to allow access to water in the bottom of the pan. Even when the bowl is full most of the water is not available.
