"Sibling" Rivalry: Can't We All just Get Along?

Dogs are social animals whose evolutionary history makes them willing and able to live in groups.  Group living enabled wolves to work together to obtain food, raise their young and defend their territory.  It would be counter-productive for members of a group to fight with each other and risk injury.  Although domestic dogs are not wolves, they do have a social structure in which each dog is either dominant (leader) or subordinate in its relationship with each pack member.  This is a “dominance hierarchy.”

    "Small harness"

We purchased this for our small dog before going on vacation. It frayed really bad and now is adorned with duct tape. The medium one was fine think we just got a junk one.

    "Great Harnass"

I have this harness for my Pekingese and we both like it. The adjustment is so flexible. As for my little furry friend, looks are deceiving. She's really small just behind the front legs and before her rib cage begins. Harnesses with all the multiple metal adjusters on the sides simply have to be uncomfortable, and still don't snug up to fit her little body. She manages to get them off.

    "What a waste of money!"

Bought this for my large breed pup. Very cheap materials and very easy to chew through. In about one minute, it was ruined. Material looks like cotton sneaker laces. Don't waste your money!
