"it is big"
sturdy and works great
fits a larger than standard Fl. coastal square bale. Love it.
"Slow Feed - Correct Name"
The name says it all. She has to work at it to get the hay. The material is durable and they are easy to load.
"Slow Feed Square Bale Bag"
This is a very well made hay net, and is easy to use, however, the two inch openings allow the horses to eat too much, too fast. Smaller size openings would be better, 1.5 inch or 1 inch.
"Huge! Seems pretty heavy duty too"
This thing is huge! I can EASILY fit an entire bale in & There's enough room for another HALF if you can lift all that! (I can't) .. but dang, it don't stand up to the farm dog getting ahold of it, but other than the canine capers around here, the horses did great with it! Will be ordering another soon
Bought 3 of these to feed my horses hay in the winter time. LOVE IT! They can hold 2 small square bails and are very sturdy. I hang mine from the hay loft rafters and let them hang down in their stalls. Best hay nets I've bought in a long time.
"Great quality and HUGE!"
I bought two of them, and they are big enough to fit 2 square bales, and very long!!! I was a little overwhelmed haha, but love them now. I don't have to refill nets every day which equals more horsey time :) I have 2 nets for 2 horses and only fill them every 3rd day, that's how long they last. Great product!
"Best Slow Feed Hay Net out there"
This is the best out there at a great price. Heavier than other competitors in terms of string used. My horses have chewed through other brands but not this one. The opening is more than big enough and I am able to put 2 average size square bales in it, easily - no struggling! I just stand the bales side by side standing on end and put the net down over it. It would be too big to use in a trailer but great for stalls and during turnout. I highly recommend. The website doesn't say what size holes, but they are 2 inch.
