    "An Honest Statement"

Can't complain about the shipping or packaging. Came quick and was easy to follow the size chart and put on the horses. However, my horses are stalled with 1/4 an acre each for a runout, so it's small, and its controlled. After 1 day with these leggings on, my horse had the 2 fronts laying in the runout slightly ripped from the seam, both unvelcroed. The Velcro also felt less durable than the day before and is difficult to get it to stick (even after cleaning all debris from it). She doesn't pick at them and she doesn't mind having them on since she gets less fly bites. The only thing she loves to do multiple times a day, is roll. Like any other horse. I didn't think I'd have an issue with getting them to stay on if she rolls but I've had them 5 days now and the front 2 are off every single day. They stay on for the most part of the day until she decides to roll. It's definitely not a sizing issue they fit her perfectly. They're just a little less durable than I thought they'd be. My other mare wears them without issue, she rolls too but not as much as my other one. They work great for her. I might think of adding a button or snap to my other horses 2 fronts, that may help. I was definitely expecting them to wear down over time just like any product that has use. But I was not expecting them to wear down from a horse after 1 day of being worn. Other than that they're great for keeping the flies off and my mares enjoy them (when they stay on).

    "Best Fly Boots EVER"

My first pair lasted 2 years and that’s wearing 24/7 from May - Sept/Oct-ish in the SW heat. Rode in them as well. Horses never stomped and held up well! Never fell down either! I’ve heard of others repurposing used ones as ice boots. :) great product and will always recommend. Well worth the money!

    "Amazing product!"

ShooFly Horse Leggins are a life saver! My horse is 29 years old and has a bad fly allergy. I have used traditional fly leg wraps all her life and still had to struggle with oozing sores and painful bumps for her. Ever since I started using these fly wraps, her legs are beautiful! No sores, hair in tact all summer! They are just a wonderful product and Jeffers has them at a great price. I know they are getting more popular though because it takes longer and longer each year to get replacements. I would recommend ordering 2 pair when you order yours to be sure you never run out!

"Great fly leggins not durable "

My first ShooFly Leggins work great at keeping flies off the legs but need regular washing and are not as durable as I expected. Mine are black at the bottom are these an older version? Material is starting to fray. Only lasting one season.

    "GREAT PRODUCT"

I have never seen leggings as effective as Shoofly. I use them for my mini donks every year. I put them on in April and take them off in November. They stay up, they are pretty much a mess in November but I just don't care. They NEVER slouch down, they save my little donks from fly misery on their legs. Before I found these, I was treating their legs every day, That is a chore I just don't miss. Nor do they. GREAT FIND!

    "MB"

These Leggins are awesome! We live in the South Carolina low country and the insects here are feirce. My farrier recommended that I try them. Best recommendation ever. No more bloody insect bites and no more stomping. Jeffers had the best price I could find. So a huge win for my horse and a big win for me too!

    "The best!"

I've got 12 horses ranging from ages 5-27 and they all use these fly boots. I've tried them all and none compare to the shoo fly. They don't fall down, they don't come off (well my frisky 5 year old looses one every now and again from playing and rolling) 99.9% of the time they are up and functional, and if one does come off it's usually just one and for good reason!

    "manure catchers"

I was hoping to really like these fly socks, however, that's not the case, they seem to be well made, and so far are holding up, however, they fill up with manure, therefore I am having to take them off multiple times a day to empty the manure, so I imagine they will soon start to show wear and tear.

    "Best fly boots....."

My previous review was accidentally submitted before I completed it. Since these leggings are not shape to accommodate the shape of the pastern and fetlock, on a horse with very straight pasterns, they will fall lower around the heel. If you get a smaller size then it is a little tight around the fetlock. I have used a large size for a 15 hand horse but because of his confirmation I had to order a second pair which is a size medium for his hind legs. One thing I do not like about them is that I think they are expensive relative to their construction. But they work great, so I guess they are worth the price and I find them better than all other fly boots on the market and use them for all my horses.

    "Best fly boots"

I love these fly boots and just about everybody I know loves these fly boots. The only concern is the size of these Leggins and the angle of your horse's pattern.

    "Excellent"

These are pricey but work great. I tried other styles but they always sagged and bunched up. I was able to get 5 years use with these so they are worth every penny.
