i really am pleased with fiproguard plus, last year MO. had a real bad case of fleas, but it worked on my dogs, plus i saved money.
"Wasted My Money"
I bought Fiproguard Plus for my 16 pound half Shitzu/half poodle. It did not ever completely kill the fleas. I reapplied after only three weeks. Same story. In all, I applied the product every three weeks for nine weeks. Still had a flea problem. Either I got a defective batch or this product does not contain the same ingredients in the same strength as Frontline.
"Great product for much less!"
This past summer was the worst for fleas. I usually only have to treat my yard and that keeps the fleas under control, but this time they got a head start on me. I bought this hoping to save some money and it took care of my flea problem completely. Perhaps the people who say it didn't work should have treated their yards and bedding as well. I purchased it for the second month and will continue with it since it works so well. By the way, I have eight dogs and they are all flea free!!!
"Didnt work for me "
I have had a bad problem with fleas this year, bought fiproguard plus and fleas are still have flea on the dogs!!!!
Great value. Same as Frontline at a fair price. Fleas are a problem in my area, but Fipro-guard plus took care of business!
"Relief for your wallet!"
"It's the same as Frontline Plus, which went off patent earlier this year. My vet said ""What's the big deal, it's the same stuff. Go for it."" It's just CHEAPER! My animals in S Florida, where fleas are a problem year round, are pest free, as usual."
"Don't waste your money"
"I might as well have put water on the back of my dogs neck. Within a week they where COVERED in fleas. I had to wait at least 2 more weeks to put Advantix or Frontline on them because I was scared to over medicate them even though it didn't work. Like they always say.......""You get what you pay for!"" There is a reason this stuff is so cheap!!"
"Worked same as Frontline Plus"
Worked great. Just like Frontline Plus. My Sheltie, Corgi and Min Pins had no problems and no fleas and no ticks.
After trying numerous oral and spot-on treatments this year that did not work, I saw ad for Fiproguard. Since the active ingredients were the same as Frontline, I cautiously gave it a trial and I was so glad i did. It worked like magic. The fleas disappeared within 3 days of first application, and the dogs did not experience any ill effects at all, even my 3 pound Pom.(I have been using it for 3 months now). They are grateful and so am I for an affordable treatment that really works. I have several dogs and Frontline is very expensive monthly for several dogs. The fleas have been a horrible problem this year even for the inside dogs and this quickly took care of the problem.
"Awful Scratching Side Effects"
I bought this product two weeks ago; one for our large dog, one for our medium dog, and one for our two cats. All four animals have sufferred severe scratching ... even a week after using the product. While the vet could not find fleas on the pets, both dogs ended up with staph infections and continue rubbing their noses in the dirt, chewing their tummies, legs, and open wounds. Both cats have scabs on their backs from scratching. I have spent over $500 at the vet in just one week all due to this awful product. Spend $10 more and buy Frontline. I learned my lesson the hard way.
