"VERY STICKY AFTER USE"
I have tried these reins many times hoping they would improve because my lesson kids loved them. They ALWAYS got sticky after a year or so using them. Then I had to throw them away. I found the nylon reins with the 4 knots in them ( to help with hand placement) and have been using them for years with no problem. They come in many different colors too!
Jury is still out on this one. When I first got them, I didn't use them for quite some time. Then I started using them with my students and they were great. Using these reins for teaching worked very well. The kids loved them too. Thought the colors were cool. Then, they started getting sticky and I thought one of the kids got something on them but after cleaning them, it was still sticky, then it was obvious they were melting. Was not sure if they were defective or something. Could not believe they would melt. I am ordering another pair to give it another shot because they were good for teaching my students until they melted. The kids hated them after that. Oh and only certain colors melted. :/
These are amazing reins to use for lessons. It helps the kids know where to put there hands at and are very easy to grip. Will recommend.
They are great for teaching, but, they are too short for most of my horses and I need to add to them.
These have a great grip to them. Very comfortable to hold onto. They look really neat and kids love them! They are also great for lessons as the colors give children a visual of where they need to hold the reins to keep them at the right length. Good aid!
These reins are great. They work great in all seasons, rain or shine. They are easy to clean, durable and last a long time. Excellent for schooling. Would recommend.
"less instructor stress"
these reins aid in the student keeping the correct rein length without notting or trying to figure out what two inches is with a 5 year old ,only drawback is in hot texas summer and lots of sweatie hands they tend to melt after lots of use.
