"Great quality leather color"
We use the collars for our goats and they are perfect for this purpose. They are made of very good quality leather and last for a long time. Good looking and great fitting made to last in all weather.
"Very happy with these for price"
We use these on our 5 dogs - border collies and cogies, and also for our sheep and goats. Very happy with quality, shed water well, stay moisturized well without care. I love these for adult animals. These also make great grab straps for saddles for kids to hold onto
Wow! For the money spent on this collar it is fantastic! It is top quality material and has great stitching. It also looks great and sheds Oregon rain like crazy! I highly recommend it!!!
This is an excellent, excellent value in my opinion. I have purchased these collars and the Jeffer's flat equivalent collar and have found them durable and lasting. Some are five years old now. And I like the solid brass hardware, it does not rust nor show wear marks. Always elegant.
"Inexpensive, quality leather collar"
No staining, soft leather, rolled for comfort - no unyeilding "pinch" to dog's neck - quality clasp, no unpleasant smell. Wonderfully priced
"Collar and Leash"
I purchased a collar and leash nearly two years ago. I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality of both products. I had shopped for similar products at local stores and would have paid over two times as much for the same quality of product. The leather is excellent quality leather and still looks great on my German Shepherd nearly two years later. I like both products so much I will be buying my Pit bull a matching set of his own.
"Too much flat leather"
Nice leather, great price, BUT, my purpose for the rolled area is to prevent damage to the long hairs. Only half of the collar is rolled. Too much flat collar for my liking.
I am so pleased with this collar. It looks and feels like good quality, soft leather. The workmanship was excellent and the hardware fitted with no rough or bumpy edges. The fit was great for my dog, and it smells like clean, softly oiled leather. Great collar; great price! Very happy.
I ordered several of these collars and leashes for my English Setters. Love them! They are like nice bridle leather. The leather is soft and looks like good quality. They look, feel, and smell good. Better than I was expecting. Very happy.
I bought two of these collars and I really like them. They have held up perfectly for my pug mix and my labs wrestling matches.
"Best Rolled Collar Ever"
I bought these collars for my Sheltie, Wire Fox Terrier, and German Shepherd all of which are very active dogs. They all go swimming in the water troughs with their collars on and haven't had a problem with them. I have had them 5 plus years and no problems.
"Not a good collar"
"I purchased this collar for my 9 week old australian shepherd. I bought an 11"" collar thinking he could grow into it since he is wearing a 9"" now. It fit him on the loosest hole and even then it was too tight. The end was hard to pass through the buckle. And the smell was awful! He only wore it for about a minute and I can still smell the fishy odor on his coat. Never purchasing one of these collars again."
"Excellent for the price!"
I am using these on two buck goats and they have worked wonderfully. I don't like flat collars and the rolled is comfortable when I have to take them by the collar without a lead. For the price, these are an excellent value and I am buying more for my dairy does.
"4-star product for a 1 star price"
"Excellent value. Never noticed any fish oil smell; rivets lasted well over a year for an active dog tied out on an overhead zip line. DID notice shrinkage, but only after I allowed the collar to dry in the sun. Was utterly useless after that. If left to dry on the dog after a bath (with collar on during bath), I did not notice the shrinkage, probably because the leather was ""worked"" as the dog dried. Several of the collars had ""Weaver"" stamped on the leather. I bought the round ones and my dog stopped scratching around her neck; evidently the edges of flat collars drive her nuts."
"Great for the price"
"I bought this collar becuase I wanted a cheap leather collar for my large breed puppy. I knew the pup was going to out grow anything in a month regardless, and I figured that I could stand to lose a few dollars if it was as bad as the reviews said. I was really pleasantly surprised. It does not have a smell nor does it rub off on her fur, so they must have corrected these problems. She is indoor/outdoor, very active and loves to swim in the pond, and the ONLY flaw with the collar thus far is that there are some ""rubbed raw"" spots in the leather that would probably not happen with better quality leather. Given the abuse my pup puts it through, it really is worth it and looks/feels so much better than nylon and it has plenty of holes for adgustment. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for long term, but it has held up GREAT over the past 2 months on my very active puppy, though I will probably upgrade when she reaches her full size."
