    "Bought a 3 doz"

Very poor quality. I hatchI a lot of chicks using hens and need a lot of waters and I bought these and most where of poor quality. First time any item from Jeffers I was not happy with.

    "not pleased"

The threads on this feeder don't hold very well at all. You have to hold the bottom when you move the feeder or it may fall off. They need to all more material to the mold because the sides are too thin. The old model was much, much better.

    "The Best Poultry Waterer"

I have used these for many years, the news ones last longer than the older version. I leave them in the snow, rain, ice, I have seen them froze solid and when they thaw out still perfect. I have also left them out in the 95 degree heat and does not effect them. Thanks for providing us with such a high quality product.

This product is tough. I have one for 23 large chickens and a rooster and have been using the same one for almost 10 months! It has had NO problems. it holds up great. great product.

    "No Problem"

I have read several reviews on this product, most of which are rated as poor. I personally have found them to be perfect for starting a flock of chickens and ducks. The trick I have learned is to set the container full of water on a flat surface and spin the bottom on. When it tightens up, screw only a little tighter. I have had no spills or leaks of any kind. When in the pen, then invert the waterer with no problems.

I have purchased these for several years and the older ones were not too bad. The newer ones, the white plastic tops are way too thin and if used outdoors crack and start leaking in a matter of weeks or months. I just finished caulking 9 of them inside and out so I can use them a little longer. I have fifteen red bases and no tops to go with them. I contacted Miller Mfg. and they were not even concerned enough to email me back. I am finished with this product FOREVER as it is WORTHLESS!!!!!!

    "poor quality"

These waterers made by Miller Mfg. are of very poor quality. The threads don't attach to the base very well and the reservoir walls are so thin that they often have holes in them which allow air in, and water to overflow the base. Miller should add more plastic to the mold when making the reservoir.

I set up my brooder for 14 chicks that were delivered yesterday. This waterer leaked all over the brooder during the night causing a flood (great for newly hatched chicks). I took it out and inspected it. It is not cracked and there is no apparent damage but it will not hold water. After looking on line at other reviews, it seems this waterer is notorious for this problem.
