Been using Ultra Shield for years. Thought it was time for a change. Tried the oil based Pyranha years ago with bad reaction on 4 horses. The water based formula has not caused any burns and makes flies bug off! Use with good ventilation!
"Continuous spray is no good!"
Great fly spray, but the continuous spray doesn't work. Out of 24 cans, only 2 of them actually sprayed until the can was empty. Some went about half way, others one tiny spritz and then nothing. Hope they get the cans fixed, I really like the continuous spray for shows.
"continuous spray is a waste of money"
Pyranha is one of the only fly sprays that actually works. stick with the traditional spray bottle though. This is my second time purchasing the aerosol and they won't spray. The first one never worked at all. This last one I was able to spray one side of the horse and then it just quits. save yourself the heartache and purchase the regular spray bottle.
"One of the best!"
I live in the desert and dust and dirt stick to oil based sprays. I'm happy with the spray's effectiveness and I like the citronella scent as well.
"Good fly spray"
I love the family of Pyranha fly sprays! The blue bottle is the water based formula - I like to use it at horse shows as it doesn’t attrack the dust like the oil based product does.
"Best I've used"
Tried about every fly spray I could find or afford to keep the biting horse flies off my horses. Some work fair, some not at all. This stuff is the best of the one's I've tried. Not oily. Keeps the flies off & gives them some peace. The tail flicking & kicking stops immediately after I use it. Would have given it 5-stars except that it doesn't last anywhere near the 2 weeks they claim. 2-5 days at best. But at least it clears the flies.
"Love this spray!!"
I love this spray!! For awhile I was in search for a fly spray that actually worked and this does!! I replies everything the label states. It stays on my horse for up to about 2 days!! I would never own another fly spray!!
I have used this spray for 4 years now and I recommend it to everyone. I have a gray paint and sprays with an oil base leaves him with a black film. I have also used this spray on horses with allergies to the oil based ones. I board my horse so I can spray him and not worry about flies for at least a week unless it rains. It works very well. Love it!! Only dislike is the price keeps going up and it is a water base, Hum?
