If you have goats, these needles are the perfect size to do just about anything. They work well to give Subcutaneous shots to adults, young kids, and for drawing blood without risking blowing the vein out! It works well for thick medications such as LA 200, and for thinner meds like B complex. Highly recommend this size to those who raise goats!

"They Do Pop Off"
Had the same thing happen as another reviewer, using the same product (injectable ivermectin). This medication is fairly thick and rather oily, but I was using an 18g 1" luer slip needle on a Jeffer's luer slip syringe. That gage needle should have been way large enough for the viscosity of the med. These hubs are way too loose and don't have enough grip.
I read the other review and have been buying boxes of needles (several different sizes) from Jeffers for several years now. Never had a problem, they did their job. Generally, I use Luer Lock Syringes, but occasionally I don't...never had a problem. Great quality for the money.
Tried the 20g 1/2" needles on Jeffers 6 ml syringes for ivermectin plus, and they popped of the syringe as soon as I tried to inject. The hubs are way looser than the others I have ordered. I have a nearly full box I simply can't trust.
