We have a senior dog (lab) and vet has this on his shelf and recommended. We tried it because of his recommendation and very satisfied.
Our 11+ yer old dog can lay on his back and his legs are out straight. He is very limber.
The first time I gave these to my 12 year old Weimaraner I didn't see a big change but after talking again with my vet I gave the a second try for longer than 30 days. This time I see a huge difference in the way my now 13 1/2 year old dog is getting around. And I have a younger dog that I give them to just because they LOVE these .... Like they are some wonderful treat. I plan to continue to use this product as long as I can get them!
We have a 100+ lb Great Pyrenees 7 year old male, who lives and works outside. About a year and a half ago he was diagnosed by our vet with arthritis in hip joints. He was in so much pain he tried to walk with most of his weight on his front legs. After a few weeks on Phycox recommended by our vet, he was walking on 'all fours' again. Now, after 1.5 years on this product, he runs and jumps as if there is nothing wrong. For us, this has been a miracle and our dog is back to doing what he loves best, guarding our livestock... and us!
"Don't waste your money"
I have a border collie that has bad rear joint issues as she is getting older...our vet suggest I get her a joint supplement to give her each day to avoid her pain a bit...I had her on this for a month and I saw no change what so ever nor any relief for her either.
