"Good budget carriers"
These are very good economy carriers. They are the minimum required for safe transport of feral cats - with one modification: use plastic lock-ties instead of the twist-clips that come with the carrier. The lock-ties will not come off and get lost accidentally, unlike the twist clips. Thees are superior to the cheaper carriers that have plastic doors that break easily making the cheaper carrier unsafe for extended transports.
