"not what i was expecting!"
was looking for a different fly spray, was impressed by the reviews on this product. ordered it, made it up as per instructions for qt. spray and was so very disappointed! didn't do anything!, my horses had clusters of 12+ flies on their ankles and I sprayed and sprayed, they would fly around then come back. I basically soaked their legs and it didn't help. next day I added more of the product and it didn't do anything again. waste of money. will stick with repel-x from now on

"PERMECTRIN II INSECTICIDE"
WORKS GREAT WOULD SUGGEST TO BUY TO OTHERS USED IT ON MY DOG
I breed and raise foxhounds and also train them. If you could imagine a pack of hounds running through the woods for 4-8 hours at a time, you can imagine all the ticks that get on them. When I catch them I have a spray bottle with the permectrin mixed in it. As I load them up I spray them down and as a result I do not have any tick on my hounds or at my kennels. It works plain and simple.
I raise dogs. I buy permectrin by the quart. It has replaced all other dog products including Frontline and Advantix and all the usual others. I put the liquid full strength into a 1/2 gallon hand pressurized pump sprayer and use coarsest thickest stream. I apply a 3 second spray (1 tbsp)from the top of the head to the base of the tail in medium dogs. Twice as much for big dogs. And one teaspoon (1 sec spray) for pups 8 weeks and above. Its oily and stays in place for about a week. It has an odor so you can tell if it is still in place or needs respray. It is effective against biting flies, ticks, fleas and mites. Useful adjunct for mange. I consider it to have a wide safety margin and in some cases I spray my hands rather than the puppy and then massage a light hand rub next to the skin if the pup is small.
"BEST fly spray!"
This is the best fly spray I've ever used! Last for days and ACTUALLY works! I will never buy anything else!
This is an awesome product have been using it for three years on my horse, if you mix it correctly it lasts up to 4 days!
