Paw-B-Gone Horse Ankle Bands
Teach your horse to stand quietly without pawing. Bands easily slide over leg and stay secure with an elastic loop. Paw-B-Gone hits coronet band when horse paws, making it uncomfortable to continue.
- Type: Pawing
"My horse is digging to China with them on"
Yeah, that doesn't work. The fit is right but he doesn't care.
Start in a small pen in case the horse freaks out. Like any gimmick they work fine untill they are removed.
"Don't fit yearlings/large ponies"
I ordered the "mini" size, which were too small for my yearling, so I went back and ordered a "horse" size, which where too big! Oh well, I'll just let her paw until she grows into them, and then we will start using them and see how they work. They felt very high quality, and I have high hopes. I really think they will work well. The sizing was completely my fault, not at all Jeffers or Tough-1. Simply don't fit my yearling, that't not a default. Anyone wanting to use these on yearlings/large ponies, neither size fits, so I'd find a different brand. Once they do fit, I'll be very pleased with my purchase!
Think they shocked my mare, lol! No fuss and no pawing. Love them.
"pros and cons"
These really work good , however...the second time I put them on the horse, one of the rubber band things on them broke...the next time I put them on, the other rubber band broke...here's how to fix them real good...go and get some of those rubber band hair ties, and then you can put them on and problem solved...( I doubled them for extra strength)> I recommend these, like I said, they do work well.
Broke the first time I used them. Sorry to have bought them.
