Oral Meds Dispensers
- Type: Pill Dispensing
- Form: Syringe
- Size: 60 cc,35 cc,15 cc
"Easy oral med dispenser"
This particular type and size seems hard to find...these get used for numerous powdery pills combined with fluid (antibiotics the horses don't like!). The large opening with longer point and the large capacity makes it easier to dispense and aim to the back of the mouth.
"Used a long time"
I bought one of these syringes in the60ml size. I've been using it three times per day for the last 70 days. It has worked perfectly. The increment markings have faded away. But I don't use that any way. I'm buying two more now.
These do not work at all! The opening is so big that the liquid just runs right back out again. USELESS!
"Perfect for Syringe Feeding Pigs "
I got this to have on hand in case of needing to medicate one of my goats or sheep, but I recently got a orphan miniature piglet. This is perfect for syringe feeding him his baby rice and formula mash/ paste. The tip is a great length and perfect opening size not too small and not too large for a semi liquid paste. Has made feeding him so much easier than a spoon or tiny syringe. Would recommend anyone with pigs to keep a few on hand. Have used other sizes with great success as well the 30 cc has a very large opening on the tip and shorter sorta like a tube of Safegaurd wormer only a little smaller.
"Great for assist feeding!"
These syringes hold 15cc, not the usual 12cc or 10cc, which is very helpful. Also, the longer tip is easier to use not only to get the food in the pet's mouth, but also it is wide enough to put some slightly-watered-down canned food through. I recently tried to find these or something similar (I had some older ones that were still in use, but finally getting worn out), but there is nothing on the market that I could find that holds this amount and has the wonderful tip. (I spent hours looking; I wish these were more widely advertised!) I also appreciate the cap, which makes life a bit less messy and allows for pre-filling and storing. My only complaint is that the rubber component does start sticking, and it might be improved with a silicone gasket. So glad I found these again!
