    "Mesh too thin"

I had this on my Haflinger 1 day & it was obvious the mesh won't hold up. Had a small hole in it at the end of the day. It's too bad because it fit her perfect.

    "Best Fly Mask!"

We've used the Opti-Force Fly Mask for five years and LOVE IT. It's very breathable, it's easy to see through, and it has held up well, even with our rough boy rubbing his face on the ground when he rolls. I'm buying two more right now (one for my other gelding, one to replace the worn one so Pip doesn't get jealous).

  3. 1.0 out of 5 stars

    "Didn't like it."

The flimsy material would rub the horse's eyes. The darts, which are supposed to keep the material away from the face, were too flimsy to do any good. I sent it back.

  4. 1.0 out of 5 stars

    "Flimsy material does not protect."

I found this fly mask to be useless. The material is flimsy and will rub against the horse's eyes. The darts did nothing to elevate the material from the face. So I will be returning it for a refund.

    "I can see his eyes!"

Love the fact that I can see my large standard donkeys eyes! And it fits his face.

    "Finally found it!"

I purchased this fly mask a couple of yrs. ago, maybe longer.. My horse was getting rubbed raw from the Farnam mask he was wearing. The Opti-force stays on and has not rubbed any hair off. I have sewn on the velcro straps several times to keep it in use, but am now ready to buy him a new one. Plus, I will be getting another one for my other gelding. The tag had long fallen off and I could not remember the name or where I got it. Have hunted the internet knowing I would recognize the name when I saw it. I'm so relieved to have found it.

    "Opti-Force Fly Mask"

I purchased the Opti Force in Warmblood size because I "heard" it ran small. It fits my fine featured Appaloosa nicely around her eyes and provides plenty of sun protection which is why I purchased this. The reason I gave this a FIVE STAR rating is because looking thru this mask is literally like putting on a pair of sunglasses. There is no visual obstruction. My chief complaint for all other type fly masks is that they obstruct the horse's vision. If horses process visually in the same way that humans do, the Opti-Force is SOOTHING in bright sun with no obstruction to the vision. Also, it DOES provide UV protection. Our Appaloosa has white/pink around her eyes but does not burn (in Florida) when wearing this mask. I love it.

    "Opti-Force Fly Mask"

Great mask! doesn't collect dirt like the others & washes well

  9. 5.0 out of 5 stars

    "Opti-Force Insect Shield Fly Mask"

I would LOVE to have one of these fit my horse. The horse size was too small above her eyes and including the eyes. Then I purchased the over-sized one. It's huge! I really wish they made one that would fit my thoroughbred. The idea and the fabric are great!

  10. 4.0 out of 5 stars

"I can my donkey's face & eyes clearly"

The small mesh is good to keep out insects and yet I can see his face clearly to make sure his eyes are OK. I gave it 4 stars because the over size is not quite large enough for my mammoth donkey and the mask got snags from pasture wear right away. Other wise I like it and it seems to be helping.
