"Good quality for the price!"
This surcingle is well made and has plenty of rings along it so you can set your side or long reins exactly where you want them to be. Padded and non slip. Good value!
i like it very much! It doesn't slip which is a plus! heavy duty every thing. It fit my 14.2hh paint mare good, with Quite a bit of wiggle room!
"Great for the price!"
Great surcingle, does the job perfectly and is fairly non-slip. We use it with our Pessoa System and it's perfect for that! I would say these run small!! I'm using this on several 16.2(ish) warmbloods and it is on the small side. My big round Holsteiner can use it, but on the last holes on both sides. (For reference all of the horses I use it on wear a 50-52" girth)
"Disappointed in size"
When I tried it on my 15.3 hand Friesian mare, it was WAY too small. She is not overweight at all and is fine boned for a Friesian. Very disappointing since it seemed to be very nice otherwise.
So today I attempted to use my surcingle for the first time on my 17.1hh ISH and it doesn't even come close to fitting. He's not chunky, but does wear a 56 girth. If you have a large horse, I'd recommend either finding a different surcingle or I plan in buying a cheaper dressage girth to make it work. It's pretty nice quality for the price, just way too small.
Very nice! Love the padding.Only thing I would point out that the metal rings on the girth make it not as smooth in tighting it! But one can NOT really complain at this price. How strong its made and the padding to make it confi for the horse makes up for minor dislike!I give it still a 5 star!!!
"Great for price!"
Very pleased with this surcingle. Works great, very well made, and great price. I did break one d ring off of it when I had some sticks tied to it to desensitize a young horse another horse stepped on the stick, which was attached with baling twine, and the D ring busted. So it's not idiot proof, but still well made =)
Great tool for the price. Holds up great everyone at the barn borrows mine. stays put well must have for lunging.
