    "neighlox advanced"

I have a "worryier" Icelandic horse. He developed severe COPD. I noticed that during severe or even less severe episodes he would become hind gut bloated making breathing even worse. I feed flax appeal for increased immune response ,however , since regular addition of Neighlox advanced, the bloating is greatly/totally reduced, he is more active and alert and the other meds for his COPD can be reduced but more effective when he needs them. These are anecdotal observations. I have no research to back them up. While I was away for two weeks he did not receive the NA. and was showing signs of Respiratory distress when I came home. after one week of NA. he had greatly improved.

    "Seems wonderful!"

It's hard to gauge effectiveness of a product like this in a horse that hasn't been formally diagnosed with ulcers or other gut issues, but I made a good guess that my gelding who had been on multiple meds including high-dose antibiotics, Bute, and banamine for months might be suffering some cranky gut. Since he's been off the riding roster, I couldn't say for sure if his performance was impacted, but his mood seemed to be deteriorating. I figured a couple of weeks on Neigh-Lox couldn't hurt. I can objectively state that his mood improved within the first few days of 2-scoops/day dosing with this product. I've continued it while he was treated for another infection, and he has continued to improve in his approach to the humans with whom he has to interact. He's almost finished with his dosing, so I'll be able to tell in a week or so if the problem has re-occurred. For now, I'm happy and so is he.
