"Neat tool - like it lots"
I just bought a couple of these lights as a fluke. But after I received them and started using them, I have found many great uses. Namely, I attach it to a finger and use it to find file folders in my filing cabinet! Handy & fine price.
the kids loved them around the camp fire
Lite is good to have, I use it to find my car and door lock keys.
I bought one for my dogs collar to see where she is at night. I have an acre fenced in yard and it is nice to keep an eye on her late at night during potty breaks. It worked for a couple of months with nightly use. I am ordering more! Can't beat the price!
"Works but turns on by itself"
Some times the product turns on by itself, not sure if it is her or the product. Also, the light is not very bright but bright enough to see her in the back yard at night. Happy paying $1 but might be upset if I had to pay more.
"for retail work"
I work at a farm and ranch store with dark shelving and many of our pegs are up under a 7' self and it is difficult to read UPC #s on price stickers that high without light. These will work better that my pocket light when stocking and leave my hands free for handling packaging.
"Not for Collars, Turns Itself Off"
I bought 4. They turn off if they are tapped. I do not think they will stay lit if they are attached to a dog's collar and will not test it. Check out the Ruffin' It Safety Light Flahser also sold by Jeffers, a huge difference, night and day.
"Great idea....Not durable"
I bought 4 of these lights to use on my jacket and to attach to dog harnesses for nightly walks. Upon arrival one did not work. Jeffers promptly sent me a replacement (thank you Jeffers). The replacement only stays on if I hold the button down (does not stay on without pressure), a second light quit working entirely after about 10 minutes on our walk and a 3rd now only lights while the button is actively pressed down as well.... Great idea and size but completely unreliable.
I really liked this light. It is easy to turn on and off and easy to put on a collar and switch to a different collar if need be. However I found that it was also easy for my dog to accidently turn on if he laid his head on it. So I don't really know how long the batteries would have lasted if he hadn't been turning it on himself all the time. It was brighter than the other tag I had at the time, the flashing dog bone tag on this website. However it is not water resistant at all one day I was begining to give my dog a bath in the water hose and I forgot to take it off his collar first. I didn't soak it at all just splashed it some, but by the time I noticed and removed it it had already quite working. I never got it to work again but for $2.oo I think it was worth it.
Great little light. Perfect size to wrap around my dog's leash. I also velcro it around my finger for other uses. Will definitely purchase more with my next order.
"Perfect little light"
A great safety feature at night while walking the dogs. The attachment is velcro, and it is much easier to attach the light to the leash instead of the collar (my dogs have longer hair and it does cover the light).
I really like these, ordered six of them. You can't beat the price. I do wish the velcro was longer and easier to manage. They are very bright and work so well at night.
"handy gadgets for many uses"
These lights ended up in several family members' Christmas packages, whether they had pets or not. The bright little flashlights are wonderful to have. Attach them to a dog's collar or the leash on a walk, put one on a keychain, attach one as the zipper pull on your jacket so you're never without a light when you need one. The Velcro attaches easily and has stayed put, though I prefer a metal ring for more security. Should the light stop working, jiggle the batteries.
"safty when walking pets"
I have a black dog and find the light a good safty feature when walking a dog at night....
