i keep a lot of belgian tervurens...i usually have around 12 most of the time....over the years i've tried as many or more dog foods as your average doggie person and i consider purina dog chow to be an average acceptable dog food. I recently had a chance to try Maximum Bully dry dog food and i think its the best dog food i've found on the commercial market.....its more than 3 times the price of purina dog chow...but its very good quality....the pellet size is small and suitable for young puppies and dogs of all ages, the product is not oily or greasy looking, its very dark in color and has a faintly pleasant attractive odor, and the dogs seem to be happy to eat it, moreso than any other dog food i've given them and i've tried plenty on the better-than-average side of the scale. so i give this dog food the best rating of all the commercial dog foods i've come across so far.....if money is no object i highly recommend you give this stuff a try.
