"More Humane"
The step-in harness is so much more humane than the collar. It uses the middle of the body to pull the animal, instead of the neck. The step-in harness is hard to find locally, so I order from Jeffers. The locks are strong and durable, and usually the only reason I buy a new one is that I'm tired of looking at the old one. Any other occasion I have bought new is quite comical; I left it in a place where a puppy could chew the plastic locks!
