"Absolutely love these clippers!"
By far the best body clippers around! They are lightweight and agile. When properly adjusted and oiled I tend to stop at each quarter of a horse or so to clean, oil and allow them to cool for a few minutes while I brush the loose clippings off of the horse and fix any mistakes I had made before continuing on. I've had my Lister Star clippers for about 4 years now and have never had issues with running strength or overheating so long as the blades are sharp, lubed and adjusted properly.

"Runs too hot"
Just purchased these and was excited to get to work body clipping. My horse was bathed, clean and dry, her coat is not heavy yet. I followed all instructions for use and oiled as recommended, adjusted the tension of the blades as recommended. After 3 or 4 swipes the blades were too hot to use! Sent them back for refund. Hopefully I will receive a full refund $$$
