"It Breaks Quick"
I have purchased two of these. Even with tightening the threads super duper extra tight, my boy gets it apart and its brittle plastic. Hella weak plastic. It cracks so quick. Purchased two this year, its only September. Note: the concept is great, just cheap cheap cheap plastic. I took a picture to submit with this review, but no pics allowed to upload?
"entertaining for both of us"
i just got this recently for my aussie puppy. it is solidly constructed. she is a heavy chewer and i dont see her ever being able to destroy this thing. shes eaten out of it several times and it's been the most entertaining part of my day. great way to keep her mind and body engaged instead of just hovering over the bowl.
"My dog loves this toy"
My dog loves this toy! He can't wait until I leave so he can have his wobble kong. And as I get into my car, I can hear the kong wobbling around on the floor.
"Not for clever dogs!"
This is a great toy--if you don't have large, clever dogs. My two German Shepherds made short work of opening the toy. One unscrewed it and the other pried it open. Probably a good toy for less intense dogs.
"Great to slow speed eaters"
I have a Beagle/Dachshund mix (20lbs) that eats like she's always starving, I put her kibble in this and it takes her 5-10 minutes to eat and she has fun pushing it all over the house. Make sure to take it away when it's empty, she'd like to get inside and lick it out too, thankfully it's pretty tough.
"A Must Have!!"
This is a must have for teh dog who needs a job. This is the only way we feed our energetic boxer. she needs a job and this provides her with at least 20 minutes of activity. I like the fact that with the Wobbler she can eat at a slower pace inseatd of gulping her food down in seconds. Must have!!
My dog loves this toy. The great thing about this is she is such a picky eater. However, she will eat what falls out of this toy. She will play with it for 20 minutes.
"Keeps them Busy!"
We love the Large Kong Wobbler. We bought it for our medium size dog to slow down her eating, which worked great. Then we tried it on our 85lb dog to keep him busy while we are at work. We have watched him roll it all over the house and since the kibble comes out a little at a time so it takes a while and tires him out. I highly recommend it!
Bought this for our 7 month old labradoodle who can chew up anything! It keeps Tucker busy for a long time. I try to put some smaller treats in there that are easier to get out and some larger ones that are a little more challenging for him. It also works great if your dog gulps his food. It slows them down while eating and you can feel safe just leaving them alone with their breakfast! Well worth the money!
"Wobbling is Fun!"
This is an awesome toy! Use it to feed your dog a meal.....makes for great exercise and to break up the winter boredom. Well worth the money for this toy.
I was surprised when I opened the box and saw how big the Kong Wobbler was. But the size works very well for my Aussies and Dobies. The top screws off from the heavy-weighted bottom, and I will put kibble inside, close it tight, and leave it with my dogs in their crates in the morning. It makes them work for their breakfast, both mentally and physically. They enjoy the challenge as well. Just make sure you screw the lid back on tight or with all the twisting, it can come off, which defeats the toy's purpose. I started with one Wobbler and now have five.
"Disappointed with results"
Our dogs absolutely LOVE Kong products, so I was excited when this came out a few months ago. However, the dogs wanted to have nothing to do with it! First off, it was a lot larger than I expected, and isn't made out of the same rubber that most Kongs are made out of - it's made of hard plastic. The hole for treats is fairly small, and even with the Kong IQ treats our dogs had issues figuring it out and just gave up. They had better luck with the Tug-a-Jug.
"So much fun!"
This is a great toy. My dog has the best time eating his breakfast and dinner from this. Food comes out regularly, so it isn't a super challenge, but still fun as it moves around in weird spins. Plus, I just stuck a small piece of tape to make the hole a bit smaller to make it a bit slower when I decided I needed to slow him down. Easy fix!
