    "Good quality, HUGE sizes "

Well, I’m impressed with the quality of the blanket— it seems warm and well-stitched. However, I measured my dog, and ordered him the 22-25” blanket (he measured 21” and usually wears a medium/large in dog coats). He can literally walk through the neck hole on the tightest setting. It hangs over 6” off the back of him and the belly band covers his ENTIRE underside. I’m giving it to my friend to use on her dog who is about three times the size of mine. Definitely order smaller than you think you need. Based on how large this coat is, I should have gotten the tiniest one available.

"First order great ... second order not so great"

I ordered two of these "dog blankets" originally, to use as coats for my goats. In the first order one was too small (21" - 25") and one was just right (34" - 37"). So, I placed an order for 5 more (31" to 34") one size up from the original one that was too small ... well they arrived super fast but the 5 new blanket/coats are huge. The tag says 31" to 34" but they are the exact same size of the original very large one. I would upload photos but there is no option to do that here. So now my one large goat has a 6 coats! Now I have to search for more coats for my 5 medium size goats. This is such a bummer and I'm so disappointed. =(

    "Great fit and quality"

I purchased this coat for one of my goats and I loved it so much that I purchased 6 more. It is extremely well made and fits great. The price was the most affordable I have seen anywhere.

    "I'm hooked"

I was a little skeptical about these staying on without leg straps. I have had others that tend to twist off to the side. I decided to try them anyway, and they work great! I have two 35-ish pound dogs. One is stocky and the other is tall & lean. I got the 18-22 inch blankets based on the size chart. The 18-22 fit both of them -- the stocky, very fluffy border collie mix is on the last buckle of the neck , but the length down her back is good, just to the base of her tail. My tall lean guy has the neck on the smallest size and the chest strap also adjusted to the smallest size. But the blanket leaves his butt exposed. It measures about 14inches from base of the neck to the opposite end, and he's a good 18" long down the back. I'm going to try the next size up. For the price, you can't beat them. I expect him to grow into it being he's just 9 months old. These provide perfect protection for walking in cold or light snow or light drizzle. Also, they are not too hot once we get moving and warm up. I also like that I can adjust the neck one time, and just slip it over their heads to take it on and off, so all I have to deal with is the Velcro chest strap. Quick and easy.

    "Great blanket for the price"

This is a nice blanket, my dog seems to like it. The buckles are a little cheap quality, but for the price it is a nice blanket, and will hopefully hold up to use

    "Perfect for the price"

I took the advice from other reviewers & went up in size. It's just the right weight for mid winter temps. Easy on & off. My lab seems to enjoy wearing it.

"ok but not what I expected"

These coats are good quality for the price but the purple color does not look at all like what is pictured online or in the catalog. It is actually a dark blue color and according to customer service this is what is considered purple for this style dog coat. A more significant problem is the sizing. Past reviews state the coats run small however it now appears to be the exact opposite with the coats running large, especially in the belly area. There is only one surcingle around the belly to close the coat so it just flops around to the sides & is easy for the dogs to wiggle out of or just fall off as they are playing. Adding leg straps would help. The website states the coats are made in India but the labels state made in Pakistan so maybe that is why there is a difference in color & sizing. I would not buy these again or recommend them for long term use but for temporary use such as for puppies or young dogs that grow quickly they would be good because of the reasonable price.

    "Too small"

Nice coat but runs small!! I did measure correctly. Coat costs almost as much as shipping to mail back. She can’t wear it :(

"If in doubt go a size up!"

My guys measured right at a 20/21, I got them the 18-21... but its too short length wise. Quality is great! Absolutely love the blankets just sadly too small for my guys to wear.

    "Works for larger calves too"

We got a couple of these for the calves after they out grew the regular calf coats. Are a lesser quality but still keep them warm

    "Great blanket for big dogs."

I have a Doberman and a Weimaraner and they are hard to fit for coats. Large chests tiny waists plus being a big dog = hard to find good coat for them. I love that this is styled like a horse blanket. It fits both like a dream and the boy does not pee on it, like some coats. The price is really good and I will tell any one with a larger dog where to get a great coat. I work in a vet clinic and we have many clients who have large dogs these coats would be perfect for many of our clients.

    "Dog blanket"

Bought three for my goats. Fits nicely. Well made. Like the price. Only thing is the Velcro belly strap... goats rub on fencing an the Velcro releases. Which leaves the coats in front of them around neck which is a choking danger. Wish they came with a buckle instead of Velcro

    "Warm on cold mornings"

My dog really looks good in his blanket when he has it on. He stands still well I put on him then he is ready to go for a walk

    "Good value"

Great coat for the price. Easy to put on, strong velcro, and there is some adjustability in the front. My only complaint is that the purple is not as shown in the photo. It's still a pleasant color but it's much lighter, almost bluish.

    "a little short"

my dog normally wears a 20" coat, but this one is a full 2" too short. nonetheless, it is well-made and otherwise fits and keeps her warm. Again, i wish jeffers would consider putting a button hole on the back for a leash/harness combo to use with all of their dog coats.
