We use them at our riding school. Last well with kids except if used as a rake. The tines break with raking motion, but dont if used to scoop.
This head is strong and durable. I got it to replace a plastic head that the tine just snapped off. These tines are a lot stronger and more durable. When it comes time to replace the other head, I will buy this again.
I have used regular and mini sizes for many years. When the tine breaks, it's because I used too much force. Great products
We bought both sizes the first time and found that the smaller size worked best for cleaning our horse stalls. If the manure is frozen the tines may break when used, so we are very careful when using it when it is cold. We will continue to use this rake as we have since they first were offered at Jeffers.
I've ordered these replacement forks over and over. Sure, they're plastic and break over time, but so much lighter than metal and better at getting smaller pieces of manure. The replacement fork head price is very reasonable.
I have bought several dozen replacement fork heads. I resell many of them and have had no complaints on their strength. I still use my original fork that I bought over two years ago.
This item is not sturdy enough to use for much of anything. I would not suggest this item to anyone.
"A poor fork"
"The IA-MA mini fork has failed to impress. Having ordered 2 a mere 6 months ago, #1 broke tines within 1 month and another within 5 months. It failed again today. Fork #2 (no pun) was pressed into service. A tine broke within minutes. I have 2 dogs, not elephants. These are made in china but I remained hopeful. No such hope remains. I'll look for another brand and hope that product will last longer than these ""jokes for forks"". "
