"Great for bays! "
I felt obliged to leave a review as I've gotten so many compliments since using this shampoo. I have a lighter/redish bay. She's bleached out from the sun and it's made her coat very dull and yellow-y so I thought I would try this shampoo. (I bought this for her body, and I purchased the Black shampoo for her legs/mane/tail.) It really brought out her color and added so much shine and highlight to her coat. It is super gentle and I've even used it on her face. I use it a few times a week super diluted since she's been so sweaty and it doesn't seem to strip all her natural oils. This show season I've gotten so many compliments on how great she looks - from judges, other riders and even the trainer I purchase her from said she really stood out in the show ring.
"Great all purpose shampoo"
Cleans well, I dilute approx 10-1, I like that it is tearless, leaves coat soft, clean and smelling great. Only con: it doesn’t qualify for free shipping
"BEST shampoo hands down!"
This is the absolute greatest horse shampoo I've ever used! Completely tear free (I've tested it on myself!) and the smell is AMAZING. It leaves my horse's coat so soft and luxurious feeling, and it rinses out super easily. I've used this on my own hair I love it so much!
I own two red duns. This shampoo made their coats gleam, and their white markings beautiful. This is the only shampoo I will use for them from now on.
This is by far the best shampoo I have ever used on my horses. All of my yellows shine like gold. It isn't a shampoo with any dyes or any color changing chemicals, it's all natural and it enhances their color. I was worried that it might color my buckskin paints white spots but it didn't. It enhanced the white and the gold. I got a heart shaped curry and filled the middle with this shampoo, then I just began scrubbing her with the curry as though I was currying her before a ride.
