"Great collars for price"
Ordered 2 of these for my Rottweilers, fit is great, leather quality is super nice, very supple oils up well. 2 months in they’re holding up really well and seem strong enough. Definitely will be ordering a spare.
"Great collars unbeatable price"
Ordered 2 of these collars in 21” for my female Rottweilers. The leather is nice quality especially for the price, collars fit true to measurements. I definitely would recommend.
"Give a gift - collar"
A very well made and strong leather collar . I give one to every buyer !
"Love these collars!"
I've been buying these leather collars from Jeffers for a VERY long time, so long in fact that one of the collars has now outlived the dog I bought it for. I have one hanging on my wall over the doggy door now that my 110lb Lab wore for over nine years rain or shine, even to go swimming, and it still looks like a new collar other than darkening with age. They are very good quality leather with sturdy brass fittings and the leather is very durable with minimal care. A few times a year I clean them with a stiff brush, wipe down with a warm damp rag to get any residual dirt, and then I use Lexol leather conditioner on them (it takes very little!) and let it absorb into the leather. The Lexol keeps them supple and water-resistant, and I never have any problems with them!
"Can't beat the price!"
They're a little thick and heavy, but the quality is high and you can't beat the price! I bought some for my goats and I expect they will hold up well outdoors.
This collars are really well made but the leather is so thick and hard, that you can't hardly put it through the buckle. I bought 4 different sizes for all my dogs. They where so stiff that I took them all off. They seemed uncomfortable in them.
"Great for sheep!"
These collars look great and really hold up for my hair sheep! Brass hardware looks really good with traditional brass bells.

"Nice Leather Collars"
Haven't been able to find collars like these locally at any pet shop - a strong and supple leather collar.
"Last for years, EXCELLENT product for the money"
We have used these collars for years; I feel there is no better leather collar available on the market for any price. I feel the same about the leashes. The solid brass hardware is durable and lasts. I have paid three and four times more for both "equivalent" leashes and collars from known big-time brands and honestly they aren't as good as these; and at best no better but much more expensive.
"Low quality snap"
The leather is of decent quality. I like the feel of it, but the snaps are lacking in quality. They are difficult to work and want to stick. I oiled them and they are a LITTLE better. Useable, but not great.
The quality is decent, especially for the price. I purchased a 17" collar and it BARELY fit my dog, who always wears a 17" collar. I measures, tip to end rivet is 17", last hole to buckle, where it could be worn, just over 16". Luckily, it does fit my puppy so I don't have a useless collar.
This is a well made, sturdy, softly oiled collar. I ordered the 15" size for my JRT mix, and it fit perfectly. The leather feels quality and smells only like fresh, clean oiled leather. The workmanship is good and the leather ends taper down to smoothly join together without any rough ends or irritating bumps for your dog's neck. Great bargain at this price, I'm super happy!
""1"" wide 6' Leash""
"The 6' leash is very high quality for the price and works well for my 90 lb German Shepherd who recently broke some older thinner leather leashes. The soft leather beats anything synthetic for walking a dog. In hindsight, I may have gotten a thinner one to fit my hand better, and a tip: the wider the leather, the wider and heavier the quality brass snap that might bump your dog if it hangs. (Sometimes the snap ""sticks,"" but I think it's because we got sand in it at the beach.) The leather is much better quality and thickness than some horse reins I've owned!"
I ordered 2 of these collars for my dogs and within the first week the rivets that hold the collar together by the half circle metal piece popped out. So now the metal piece does not stay in place making for a very sloppy collar. Don't waste your money.
