    "Great for the Florida Cold"

Great Blanket for the Florida Cold Snaps. It does the job right. And the price is fabulous.

    "Canvas horse blanket"

Great value for a great little blanket. In the Blue Ridge Mtns it can get cold. I have an older horse and now a pregnant mare. They both have one now. They are pasture horses and of course, roll around. One blanket is over a year old and even with the abuse it gets, it is as good as new. Would recommend for any type.

    "Turn out blanket"

Blanket did exactly what I needed, NC snow day, my horses stayed dry and warm , not too heavy of a blanket perfect, and both horses kept them on! Thank, you, Jefferies

    "Waste of money"

First off I didn't like the lining it was itchy and was only tacked in , so it would move around and bunch up.I use blankets only in winter when it is raining or snowing, I put it on my horse and the rain soaked the blanket and went right threw to the horse. Making it worse than no blanket because coat couldn't dry under the wet blanket.

    "Canvas Horse Blanket"

I love the outer shell of this blanket, however, there is not enough material in the front of blanket to cover chest (it is buckled up as far as it would go), the blanket hangs to one side no matter what I do, the wool lining is nice BUT it pulls from the front to the rump. I would prefer the leg straps to be stretchy not nylon so they have give as my horse moves. I would return the blanket but it's all I have and the weather is roo cold for my mare not to have a blanket on.

    "Really liked it!"

Really like this blanket. High quality and I didn't experience issues with the liner bunching up. It was on the smaller side, I would have ordered a size up from normal. Nice for changing seasons when a sheet is too light but a medium weight blanket is too heavy.

    "Please Don't Buy"

It's my fault for going the inexpensive way. Blanket super heavy and hard to work with. Broke within one season. Probably wore them 7 or 8 times. Bought 2, They are both torn. Love Jeffers Though!!!

    "Not worth it"

I purchased this blanket as a second blanket and wanted the extra warmth if he needed it. The first time I used it, it would slide back and to one side, because of the felt it would not slide back into place . The felt also caught and kept everything. The shoulders were cut out too much and rubbed him, because it slid back it was pulling on his neck. He had rub marks from trying to put his head down to eat. the straps are made of soft material and after one use the holes are stretching and tearing. The front closure doesn't have enough material and no Velcro, causing it to open leaving the straps rubbing him. Will try to alter and salvage it at least for a spare, but will not purchase another.

    "Short on fabric"

The chest fabric is not long enough to close the blanket in the front. Good fit everywhere else. The canvas is very heavy when wet and this blanket takes a long time to dry out. Good for a backup blanket but not my primary choice.

    "Awesome"

I got this blanket for my horse who is a "feisty" four year old/known blanket destroyer. He literally destroyed beyond repair 4 blankets in a row before this one. This blanket is holding up EXCELLENTLY to all his shenanigans and will definitely be a repeat buy for my other horses.

"Warm and heavy - but shrank when washed"

Nice warm and heavy blanket. Was very disappointed to find that it had shrunk after it was washed and put away for the summer. Fit my horse fine last winter, but was too short this year for my senior gelding.

    "Great fit"

If this doesn't fit your horse and is rubbing, either you bought the wrong size, or your horse is skinny. My high-withered gelding with a neck that ties in very high, slab shoulders and all, fits this blanket VERY well, as does my bulldog QH mare. I also like the felt lining as opposed to the usual polyfill on most blankets. Definitely a good buy, fits true to size.

    "Rubbed horses raw"

Keeps the horses dry and warm, but be cautious about the fit. Rubbed the hair off of every horses' chest at our lesson stable and made a quarter-sized sore on my horse's withers. Save the money you would be spending on a shoulder guard and buy a better blanket.

    "lining"

I didn't like the way they are changing the lining. it isn't sewed with the blanket. it is rolled up and you have to pull it down.it didn't help my horse this past winter at all. this is the secondth one I have bought like that the other one was put out by brookside. called kenninton I think

    "HEAVY canvas turnout"

These are not like the old canvas blankets; they do not smell! They are very heavy..no wind could possibly get through these! They are great for ice storms. We use these canvas blankets on the horses who tend to get the coldest in the storms.
