    "Not indestructible!"

My 1.5 yr old lab/bloodhound mix has already eaten chunks out of the sides!!

    "not suitable for outside"

This ball was great until it got damp from dew. After that it separated and the top came off. They still chew on it, but it no longer works as a ball.

    "Heavy Duty"

I got this for my bull terrier... He can chew up most toys, but the 4" size is slightly too big for him to bite/pick up, so as a non-chewable toy this is great. It also works wonderfully on hardwood floors - as for durability mine has stood up to two teenaged boys and a dog knocking it all over wooden and concrete floors and into walls and it hasn't come apart... Plus my dog LOVES it, and the fact that he can't pick it up makes him even more obsessed with it, so my advice is to get one that is larger than what your dog can fit in his mouth.

"Not meant for dogs to play with"

Ii got one of these balls for my GSD, who is very gentle with his toys. The ball came apart within the first hour of play in the grass. Jeffers was wonderful and sent us a new one but it also didn't last more than 2 hours in the house. He didn't chew on it as he played with it with his nose. The ball hit a chair leg and one end came off with all the wood pieces inside falling out (a definite choking hazard for some). We were watching him play with them when they broke apart. My guess is poor adhesive holding the wood pieces together. The inside is filled with wood chunks. Won't buy another.
