"Comfortable to use"
I hate the clippers with the skinny handles that look like they just have a vinly/plastic coating. They roll and never stay in place even in my small hands, especially when I'm trying to handle a dog who is determined to NOT get his/her nails clipped. While these clippers may seem clunky, they are so comfortable to use. They fill my hand so I don't have to worry about constantly getting them in place during those few precious seconds the dog considers giving up. And they work on all nail sizes! I tried them on my GSD mix and my 5lb chihuahua. I have a similar pair that I've used for many years. The blades are still sharp and the handles hold up well and still feel like new.
