its cheap it does its job and the brush is stiff. cant complain other than as someone else mentioned the finger grips are on the wrong side. However i don't really care about it. Still great bang for your buck.
Sturdy and great price! Brush is thick, so cleans well
"Irritating Ridiculous hoofpicks"
These long hoofpicks with brushes and indentations for fingers are ALL made by people who do not use them: The indentations for fingers are on the wrong side of the pick! For people who actually do clean horses feet, we all realize once we go to use this pick that it is backwards. So it's very annoying. It would be better to have no indentations than to have them wrong. And I think the same company makes all these hoofpicks that are marketed by different vendors; they all seem to have the same issue. The shape of the metal pick itself is a great one, narrow/pointed enough to start to dig out impacted material or rocks, and wide enough to be effective with minimal effort. But the failed design makes this NOT SATISFACTORY. I prefer to buy a slightly shorter pick/brush combo with no indentations than to start to use something that promises something it doesn't deliver. My two cents.
"Hoof Pick "
Ordering two more, the pick part is cheaper then other's but does the job what I love is the brush its just way to handy to have both right there with a flip of the wrist. Love all the colors too. THANKS JEFFERS!!
"Best Hoof Pick Around"
Can't ask for better. The best designed pick, sturdy, and very good price for what you get. On top of it all, you get a choice of colors!
"Gotta have several"
Love these picks. I have them in different colors. One for each horse/mule/donkeys. Price is great easy to replace. I'm ordering more now!
"Everyone needs one of these!"
Fits my hand great and has a nice metal pick to get up in the creases of frog and heel. The brush side is a must have. It cleans hoof sole wonderfully especially if your prepping hoof for dressing/medication. Works on outside of hoof removing caked on mud/dirt so you can apply hoof polish. Also the pick part is great to remove rubber bands in mane and tail. So much can be done with just one little inexpensive tool! Love them.
This is a great hoof pick. I have really found the brush on the end very useful.
"a "must have on hand" item"
Every equine owner should have one of these on hand. A hoof pick is good, but the stiff brush makes this one even better. In a magazine article a farrier recommended a hoof pick WITH a brush. I agree from experience.
"The Absolute Best"
I will never buy any other type of hoof pick. It's simply the best. Not too long, not too short, just the perfect length. After I pick the horse's hooves, I flip over to the brush side and lightly brush excess mess out of the frogs to leave everything nice and open. All in all, the perfect hoof pick.
"Best hoof pick, EVERY!"
Everyone that has a horse should have this hoof pick! I've had allot of hoof picks and I would never recommend them over this one!
Love this pick! Gets out all the dirt so quick. We've had nothing but rain and mud and this cleans their feet like nothing else. I just hose it off and let it dry and its perfectly clean
This one is the best! A must have!
These hoof picks are my favorite! I have several, but they are always disappearing into other people's grooming buckets since everyone loves them so much. The brush really comes in handy for our horses who constantly get dirt build-up in their hooves. Doesn't rust. Holds up to everyday use. Great product.
I have a million of these picks and they are great! I love the brush on the end to help get all the dirt out of my horse's hooves. They are very durable as well. I also find them great for cleaning out under the corners of my stall mats when bedding gets under there and pops the mat up. I take the pick end and ruck up the bedding that is caked under and then use the brush to sweep it out to avoid having to lift the whole mat and shovel it out. Works great!
