"Herm Sprenger Buckle collar"
After having different types of prong collars, this one works. I don't have to pinch the ends together to take the collar apart or put it together. Love the buckle!
"Security Buckle Prong Collar"
Nice collar for a dog that needs a little reminding when walking. No substitute for the long standing Herm Sprenger training collar used by many trainers. Buckle slide plastic protector falls off easily when collar not in use so it should be stored closed. Would suggest buying more prong inserts as this size is good for a golden retriever or medium size lab.
Patricia, clearly you have limited knowledge of this piece of equipment. A buckle collar will crush a dogs windpipe if they are a heavy puller. This, gives a quick pinch when they pull stopping the pulling and protecting the dogs throat from being crushed and damaged. As with ANYTHING if it is used incorrectly it could be harmful. The "type of people that would use these" are a large majority of the people with working dogs, sports competition dogs, and even pet dogs. Love this collar, works beautifully on boty my hound and GSD.
This is a horrible collar. The fact that you would carry such a monstrosity, makes me question ability to pick and carry humane products. Do you really want to attract the kind of customer that would buy such a product.
"Great for Goat shows too!"
I use thees on my Boer goats for showing, it works great. Even 300+ pound Tucker respondes to it. They truly are great leads!
"Love this design"
This is a wonderful improvement over the standard link snap prong collar. So easy to put on, perfect fit. Also looks much nicer on the dog and holds it position for more effective handling. Am recommending to my clients as the nicest option for a prong collar.
