    "Frustrating"

This is a poorly designed water. It disconnects easily when you turn it over spilling the entire contents all over your coop. Tried filling through the drain hole as suggested and you spill nearly as much water. Also the plastic broke as well so now I have an extra heating base with nothing that will fit it. I'd definitely not buy this product again.

    "Hard to fill"

Was hard to fill and I found it easier to fill through the drain plug also. Didn't stay together when carried. Fill through drain plug then flip over. Don't try to carry it anywhere. Was a real pain.

    Works well.

    "plastic is poor choice"

Bought this inexpensive heated waterer for our chickens but was pretty disappointed. It is very difficult to get the base screwed onto the plastic tank part. The plastic cracked in several spots along the edges and we couldn't fit it together. Worked for about a month for us before this happened. It lasted that long bc my son would fill it by unscrewing the bottom drain since that was easier to replace than to take the base off and refill that way. I'll buy an all-metal waterer next time.
