"Cashel HAY NET"
Not as good quality as I expected from Cashel. It's o.k. but the drawstring is pretty thin compared to other hay nets I have. No idea how long before it breaks but not feeling too hopeful. Pink color is nice though!
"hay bags "
I love these hay bags , I open up put over a plastic tub , 3 flakes fit right in I have about 30 of them. cant wait for the 5.00 ones come back .
"Hay net success"
These are perfect for llamas and alpacas, as their lips act like fingers and pluck the hay out. We no longer waste hay by putting it in bags meant for animals with larger nose/mouth configuration.
"Don't waste your money!"
The worst hay net ever! Super hard to open to even fill it with hay. Was constructed incorrectly so it wouldn't open all the way. After squeezing the hay in (with much cursing) I offered it to my mare for a pre-ride snack and she hated it! She couldn't get the long stem Bermuda grass hay out of it and consequently broke after a mere 5 minutes. I am so sad because I bought 3 of these and embarrassingly had given one to a friend for their next camping trip with their horse. I had to apologize for giving them such a crabby hay net!
"Too Small for the Bigger Bails"
I picked up two of them and they both have the same problem, they don't fit over the larger square bails and are hard to fill. Once you do get them filled they work fine.
"hard to fill"
This net has a very narrow opening which makes filling extremely difficult. The hay has to be slid inside like a pillow into a pillowcase. I could only fit two good size flakes inside without cramming any more. The size of the holes was nice.
