"So much easier!"
It makes things so much easier when putting hay in the stalls for our horses. No more fighting with the hay bag trying to keep it open!
"Makes Life Easy"
I'm so happy I finally decided to purchase these hoops. They're easy to install and easy to use. My gelding loves the larger holes compared to the smaller holes of his previous net.
"Time saving method for hay nets"
We put up three of these for our voracious eaters!! Although easy to put up instructions would have been helpful to make sure you get the latch installed correctly. There are instructions on Tough 1's Facebook page. Look under their photos. Easy to load and works very well -- just as portrayed!
We have 20 of these, in stalls and in all of our paddocks. Best price out there and makes it super easy to have a slow feed hay net without the annoying stuffing. Most reasonable slow feed option around!
I bought one to try it out with a pony who wastes a lot of hay when stalled. This feeder is very easy to fill and great for reducing waste and making her hay last a bit longer. I'm ordering one for my other horse now!
"Love this hay hoop!"
Makes loading a slow feed hay net 1,000 times easier! Easy to use, easy to install. I already had one, but when we got a second horse had to get another! 1st hay hoop is still going strong after 1 year! My first one was black, but the most recent one we bought was purple. I was pleasantly surprised since this is my mares color!
"Love this hay feeder!"
I bought 2 of these for my shed area and now I'm buying another one for the front corral when I need to separate my horses. It is so easy to fill the hay into the net. I prefer net feeding as it takes my horses a lot longer to eat and they love the challenge. Great purchase.
"WONDERFUL !!! "
I Love these, Wonderful Idea!! I was looking for something to hang my slow feed hay nets, that would make it easy for my kids to fill. I have 6 horses in stalls an this has made chore time much easier, I do say they work best for the latch on a flat smooth wall, I still could open and close with mittens on all winter!! NO Problems here! ;)
"Great - however"
"These were fairly easy to mount and the nets easy to put on. The only problem is the little gadget that keeps the ""hoop"" closed. It's somewhat difficult to manipulate when the hay net is full. I pinched my finger badly when trying to line it up. Plus, don't plan on latching these with gloves on!"
"YES! LOVE LOVE LOVE!"
I never buy stuff I can make myself but I just ordered 3 more of these! They are fabulous. Well designed and simple to use. Fantastic price for what you get. I have one trial one in a stall right now and I have ordered 3 more - one for my other stall and two for the outside for when the weather is nice. The only thing I did extra was added a little clip at the bottom of the bag to secure it to the wall so it doesn't flip up as they pull hay out. I do that will all my hanging nets though.
"love love love these"
Ordered 5 of these babies, one didn't come with the locking mechanism or screws to mount them with so I sent them a letter, Amanda was quick to reply and send me the part that was missing at no cost to me, she was absolutely wonderful to deal with..... now back to these babies, they are totally AWESOME and by far one of the best purchases I have made for my barn, so easy to mount, and even easier to fill, I find I can open and fill this one handed its that easy, a lot less wasted hay and slows the gobblers down a lot, I am now going to be purchasing more for my other stalls to have as it makes feeding time so much faster than putting up hay nets and keeps the horses occupied for longer, :) LOVE these, its just to bad they don't sell them in Canada though, but it was ok as it didn't take long for these to be delivered after ordering them.
"Easy to install, easy to load. I like that I can use any net, so that I can choose or change the size of the openings. What the pictures don't show is that there is an extra little locking mechanism so that when the hoop is up in ""feeding position"", a too-clever-for-his-own-good horse can't finagle it to the open/loading position and gorge. Great price for this clever little device too!"
I bought one of these to see if they worked! They did!!!! I am so happy because loading a slow feed hay bag was a night mare for me and my son-in -law. It took a few minutes to figure it out, there were no instructions with it, but when I put it up, it worked GREAT!!!! So I am ordering 4 more, one for my son-in -law! Thanks to the person that invented this!!!! Hope you make a million off it!!
"Good product, poor shipping"
I have two of these wall feeders with great success and find them to be easy to use. My only issue is that when my order arrived, the box had been completely torn open and inadequately taped back together, the wall feeders themselves were scratched and the packaging was torn off of two of the wall feeders as well as the screws were not all there. Better original taping and packaging would most likely have prevented this problem. I would recommend this product, but be aware of the possibility of packaging problems occuring with your order.
"easy to use, safe."
Bought one, to test it out. Lost a mini because of another type of hay feeder, broke his neck on the string. Very cautious, skeptical because of that. Love these! No strings, secure to the wall. super easy to fill. I now have 7 of them up and hanging. There are still things to be cautious of, for instance I would not use them with shod equines. And I am super conscious that it is properly closed and secured. One thing I like is you can use various size hay nets. For my fat ponies, I use a bit smaller net than I do for our 2 hard keeper horses. There is peace at feeding time, and happiness on the part of the feeder since they are so easy to use and safe!! Highly recommend. Not sure I would use these outdoors, being metal framed.
